According to the Steering Committee, Vietnam has supported the elimination of 121,000 temporary and dilapidated houses. More than 65,000 houses have been handed over, and more than 56,000 are under construction. Six localities have completely wiped out temporary and dilapidated houses. More than 101,000 houses must be demolished by the end of this year. On average, every day, about 500 temporary and dilapidated houses must be eliminated nationwide and each province eradicates eight houses per day.
