B: We continue our Letter Box segment with a letter from Stu Forsyth of New Zealand, who lived in Hanoi from 2010 to 2012 and worked at Ha Noi International School.

A: Forsyth told us: “I absolutely love the city and its people. Vietnam is a truly beautiful country. I’ve been a shortwave listener for over 50 years now. I do not often send out reports, but in this case I really wanted to because it brought back so many happy memories.”

B: Thank you, Forsyth, for sharing your memories of Vietnam and passion for radio with us! It's truly inspiring to hear from a dedicated shortwave listener with over 50 years of experience. As a life member and chief editor of NZ DX Times, part of the NZ Radio DX League, your commitment to the DX’ing community is remarkable.

A: Forsyth also sent us a very detailed report of the program on March 8, highlighting some interesting news stories, such as the Vietnamese government’s visa-free initiative for citizens of 12 countries, the introduction of 5G equipment by a Vietnamese company in the United Arab Emirates , various tourism attractions across Vietnam, and updates on world news. The Weekend Music segment was entertaining with beautiful songs in celebration of International Women’s Day, the letter says.

B: Thank you for listening to our program attentively and sending detailed technical feedback. We’re pleased to hear that the signal intended for Europe was received so clearly in New Zealand.

A: We hope to receive regular feedback from you in the future and our broadcasts continue to bring back wonderful memories of your time in Vietnam. Keep listening and stay in touch!
