“What do you know about Vietnam?” contest rules

-The Voice of Vietnam is holding its “What do you know about Vietnam?” contest from March 10, 2025, to June 15, 2025.

CHAPTER I – GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. Contest name

The "What do you know about Vietnam?" contest is organized by the Voice of Vietnam . Awards will be granted to the best entries as per the contest regulations.

Article 2. Purpose and implication

1. The contest offers international listeners and readers an opportunity to express their love for Vietnam and their knowledge about Vietnam, its people, and its culture. It’s also a chance to show their appreciation for the Voice of Vietnam.

2. The contest honors contestants who submit outstanding entries that contribute to promoting Vietnam’s land and people globally.

3. The contest supports Party guidelines and State policies on external information services, strengthening relations between VOV and overseas listeners and Vietnamese communities abroad.

CHAPTER II – SPECIFIC REGULATIONS

Article 3. Eligibility

The contest is open to overseas Vietnamese and foreigners living in Vietnam or elsewhere.

Article 4. Award criteria

1. Content:、Entries must demonstrate an understanding of Vietnam and express affection for its land and people.

2. Format:、Participants must provide written answers to all 5 contest questions, which are available on VOV radio broadcasts and the website: vovworld.vn.

Submission period: From March 10, 2025, to June 15, 2025 .

3. Prizes:、3 top prizes: 5-day, 4-night all-expenses-paid trip to Vietnam, plus gifts

10 consolation prizes: 2 million VND each

Special prizes:

- Youngest and oldest contestant: 2 million VND each

- Most impressive entry: 5 million VND

Article 5. Award announcement and ceremony

Results will be announced on the occasion of VOV’s 80th anniversary on September 7, 2025.
