Ha Thi Linh wins bronze medal at 2025 World Boxing Championships Saturday, March 15, 2025 | 16:21:14 - Vietnam secured its only medal at the 2025 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in Serbia, a bronze claimed by Ha Thi Linh in the 63kg category. Vietnamese boxer Ha Thi Linh faces Venezuela’s Alcala Omailyn in the 63kg round of 16 at the 2025 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in Niš, Serbia. Early Saturday morning , Linh faced Thailand’s top-seeded Thananya Somnuek in the semi-finals of the tournament. Despite the loss, Linh claimed the bronze medal, marking her first-ever medal at a World Championship. The 2025 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships runs from March 8 to 16 in Serbia, with Vietnam fielding eight athletes. Team Vietnam will compete in several upcoming events this year, including the Asian Junior Boxing Championships, the Asian Youth U22 Boxing Championships in April, the Asian Boxing Championships in June, the Asian Youth Games in September, the Asian Boxing Cup in November, and the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in December.
